The investigation into the murder of Ketan Agrawal has uncovered a series of startling details, with police claiming that the accused, Siya Goyal, allegedly carried out extensive online research before the crime. Investigators believe these searches may have been part of a carefully planned conspiracy, adding a new dimension to the high-profile murder case.

Internet Searches Raise Suspicion

According to the investigation, Siya Goyal allegedly searched the internet for topics related to police procedures, including how women are kept in police custody and the methods used during police interrogation. Officials suspect that these searches were intended to help her prepare for possible questioning after the crime.

Police have also found that Siya reportedly read about the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. Investigators believe the details of that case may have influenced her while allegedly planning the murder of Ketan Agrawal. Authorities are examining her digital activity to determine the sequence and purpose of these searches.

Use of Code Words and Multiple Phone Numbers

Another significant revelation is the alleged communication pattern between Siya Goyal and co-accused Chetan. Investigators claim that Chetan used two different phone numbers on the same mobile handset to remain in contact with Siya. The conversations reportedly involved coded language, which police believe was used to conceal the alleged conspiracy and avoid detection.

Digital evidence recovered during the investigation is being analysed to establish the exact nature of these communications and their role in the alleged planning of the crime.

Both Accused in Judicial Custody

At present, both Siya Goyal and Chetan are in judicial custody and have been lodged in Yerawada Central Jail. Police continue to examine electronic devices, call records and other forensic evidence to strengthen the case. The investigation is still underway, and officials are expected to question additional witnesses while analysing digital and forensic material. More details are likely to emerge as the probe progresses and evidence is presented before the court.
