Addressing investors during a series of one-to-one meetings on the third day of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM Congress-2026) in Dubai on Tuesday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav said Madhya Pradesh had significant potential in energy, infrastructure, logistics, urban development, technology and green energy.
The Chief Minister stressed that stronger logistics and supply-chain infrastructure would help connect products from Madhya Pradesh with international markets while cutting transportation time and costs. Expanding warehousing, logistics networks and multimodal connectivity, he said, could boost trade, attract investment and generate more local employment.

CM Dr Yadav held detailed discussions with senior representatives of Crescent Enterprises, DP World, Rana Holdings, GEMS Education, BeauMerc Corporation, Sharaf Group, VFS Global and Choithrams. He also invited the business leaders to attend the Global Investors Summit (GIS)-2027 in Madhya Pradesh next year.
Technology, logistics and green energy in focus
During his meeting with Crescent Enterprises representative Badr Jafar, CM Dr Yadav highlighted investment opportunities in warehousing and logistics around major production clusters. Discussions also covered technology-driven entrepreneurship, startups and innovation in the energy and technology sectors.
Jafar expressed interest in long-term investments in urban infrastructure, information technology, resource utilisation and technology transfer. Crescent Group, headquartered in Sharjah, has interests spanning energy, logistics, infrastructure and long-term investments.
With DP World CEO Rizwan Soomar, CM Dr Yadav discussed expanding logistics and supply-chain operations in the state. He said the Powarkheda Logistics Composite Hub could emerge as a major gateway for inland logistics, supported by multimodal facilities, warehousing and cold-chain infrastructure.

CM Dr Yadav said efficient rail freight movement could reduce logistics costs and transit times while helping farmers, FPOs, MSMEs and industries access cargo consolidation, value addition and export facilities.
Investments across diverse sectors
Discussions with Rana Holdings focused on smart manufacturing, data centres, green energy, green hydrogen, e-mobility and agricultural machinery. Meanwhile, GEMS Education expressed interest in establishing international-standard K-12 school campuses in major and emerging cities of Madhya Pradesh, with skill-development programmes for students.
BeauMerc Corporation expressed interest in investments across infrastructure, healthcare, technology and green energy.
Sharaf Group discussed a proposed logistics park with rail siding facilities, involving an estimated investment of US$30 million to US$50 million and potentially creating 300 to 600 jobs. The company is interested in the Indore and Pithampur regions.

CM Dr Yadav also urged VFS Global to expand visa application services in Bhopal and Indore and explored industry-oriented tourism, travel and hospitality training for local youth.
Choithrams, meanwhile, expressed interest in establishing supermarkets and modern grocery retail outlets in major cities. The group also proposed directly procuring agricultural and processed food products from local producers and farmers, potentially strengthening food processing, packaging and private-label manufacturing in the state.
