Recalling Pradhan's tenure as Union Education Minister, CM Dr Mohan Yadav said he had personally witnessed the initiatives undertaken to strengthen the country's education system.

He stated that Pradhan introduced several significant reforms in the education sector, benefiting students across India. According to the Chief Minister, every responsibility entrusted to Pradhan, both within the government and the BJP organisation, was discharged with sincerity, efficiency and unwavering commitment.

CM Dr Yadav added that Pradhan's dedication helped bring about several positive changes in the education sector and strengthened the foundation of educational reforms in the country.

Kailash Vijayvargiya calls nation above office

Senior BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya described Pradhan's resignation as an example of placing national interest above personal office.

He said there are occasions in public life when individuals are required to rise above their positions and prioritise the country's interests. Vijayvargiya alleged that certain forces were attempting to weaken democratic institutions and asserted that Pradhan chose to step down while placing the nation's interests first.

He further described the move as a reflection of Pradhan's commitment to democratic values and organisational discipline.

Praise for education reforms and NEP 2020

Following the resignation, BJP leaders unanimously praised Pradhan's administrative abilities, organisational experience and contribution to education, skill development and student welfare.

In a post on X, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav acknowledged Pradhan's role in the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, stating that it had strengthened India's knowledge traditions, promoted mother tongue-based education, encouraged skill development and laid a stronger foundation for quality higher education.

"I have personally witnessed the work you have done for student welfare and education reforms. Your contribution to India's education sector will always be remembered," CM Dr Yadav wrote, wishing Pradhan success in his future endeavours and expressing hope that his journey in nation-building would reach even greater heights.
