A  major breakthrough has come in the Aishbag double murder case, with police alleging that the killings of Shakuntala and Hemant were planned over a property dispute. Investigators have identified Shashikant and Shrikant, two brothers, as the main accused in the case. The latest findings suggest that the murders were allegedly linked to the couple's property and their decision to sell it.

Broker Allegedly Misused Gift Deed

According to the police investigation, Shrikant, a property broker, had allegedly convinced Shakuntala to sign a gift deed related to her property. Investigators claim the document was executed through deception, giving the accused control over the property. The alleged fraud became a key point in the investigation after police examined the sequence of property transactions.

Couple's Decision to Sell Property Triggered the Crime

Police believe the motive for the murders emerged after Shakuntala and Hemant decided to sell their property. Investigators allege that the accused feared losing control over the land and subsequently planned the murders. The case is being treated as a pre-planned conspiracy linked to financial and property-related interests.

Probe Still Underway

The investigation remains ongoing, and police have indicated that another individual may also be named as an accused as more evidence is examined. Officials are continuing to question those connected to the case and verify documents related to the property dispute.

The Aishbag double murder case has drawn widespread attention in Bhopal due to its alleged link to property fraud and conspiracy. Police say further disclosures are likely as the investigation progresses and additional evidence is collected.
