Strengthening Madhya Pradesh's industrial investment and employment prospects, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held one-to-one meetings with investors on the first day of the two-day Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Summit 2026 at Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore on Friday.

During the meeting, representatives of Lalwala Industries, Saurabh Harivadan Lalwala and Siddharth Lalwala, met the Chief Minister and presented a proposal to invest ₹1,200 crore in Indore.

The company informed the Chief Minister that it plans to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Indore, with the investment to be made in phases over the next five years. The project is expected to generate approximately 300 employment opportunities for skilled and technically qualified youth in the state.

Boost to Advanced Electronics and Semiconductor Manufacturing

During the meeting, the company shared its detailed plans to manufacture microwave and radio frequency (RF) generators, along with Gallium Nitride (GaN) devices, at the proposed facility.

The project is expected to expand Madhya Pradesh's advanced electronics manufacturing capabilities and strengthen the semiconductor industry's domestic and international supply chains.

Lalwala Industries' Expertise in Semiconductor Technology

Based in Surat, Gujarat, Lalwala Industries is an established company in the semiconductor and Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector.

The company manufactures high-power, solid-state microwave generators operating at 2,450 MHz, which are used in etching and deposition equipment during semiconductor chip manufacturing. It is also involved in supplying ceramic and plastic packages for semiconductor packaging, along with process gases and chemicals.

The proposed facility in Indore will mark the company's entry into Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Assures Government Support

Welcoming the investment proposal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav assured the company of the state government's full support, streamlined procedures and the necessary infrastructure to facilitate the project.

He also invited the company's leadership to participate in the upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS 2027), scheduled to be held in January 2027.

The proposed investment marks a significant step towards strengthening Madhya Pradesh's position as an emerging destination for semiconductor and advanced electronics manufacturing.
