The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) on Sunday announced the results of the Class 10 board exams for the academic year 2025-26, posting an improvement in the overall pass rate compared to previous years. The board’s chairman, Rajesh Sharma confirmed the uptick in the performances.
Students who took the exams can access their scorecards on the official website of the board. They have been advised to rely only on authentic platforms for accurate updates, and avoid unofficial sources.

- Visit the official website of HPBOSE
- Click on the ‘Results’ section located on the homepage
- Click on the 10th regular theory exam 2026 link
- A login page will appear. Enter your credentials and click on search
- The scorecard will appear on the screen. Download it and print a copy for future references
It may be noted that the online marksheet is provisional in nature, while the original ones shall be distributed to the students by their respective schools.

Apart from the official website, the students can also log on to DigiLocker to view their scores.
78k students declared qualified in the exams
According to statistics released by the board, as many as 78,150 students were declared qualified in the board exams. Among them, 39,701 were boys, while 38,449 were females. Students are required to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject, as well as in aggregate to pass the exams. Those who fail to meet the criteria may take the supplementary exams, expected to be held in July 2026.

The board also released the merit list, in which several students who delivered exceptional performances were named. Anmol took the top spot with 699 marks. Abhinav Mehta and Purnima Sharma shared the second position with 698 marks each.
HPBOSE Class 10 2026 Exam timeline
The board conducted the Class 10 exams from March 3 to March 28, 2026 in a single morning shift. Students were given 15 minutes to go through the question paper before beginning with the exams.
In 2025, the board’s pass rate froze at 79.8%.
