The Department of Higher Education will organise the CM Youth Conclave-2026 at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on October 6, with the state’s Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav scheduled to interact directly with more than 20,000 young people.

The conclave will focus on helping youth understand changing requirements in education and employment while providing access to information on government schemes, career opportunities, skill development and emerging sectors.

Minister reviews preparations

Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Minister Inder Singh Parmar inspected the venue, exhibition halls and other arrangements at Lal Parade Ground. He reviewed preparations for the event and directed officials to complete all arrangements within the stipulated timeframe, with particular emphasis on the convenience of participants and the smooth conduct of the programme.

Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education, Anupam Rajan, and Commissioner, Higher Education, Prabal Sipaha, along with officials from various departments and public representatives, were present during the inspection.

80-plus exhibition halls to showcase opportunities

As many as 17 government departments and various institutions will participate in the conclave. Departments dealing with higher education, industrial policy and investment promotion, MSMEs, technical education, science and technology, labour, public health and medical education, transport, AYUSH, police and cyber security will showcase their schemes and activities.

The Madhya Pradesh Startup Centre and CEDMAP will highlight opportunities linked to self-employment, entrepreneurship, skill development and innovation.

More than 80 exhibition halls will be established by departments, institutions, universities and emerging enterprises. These will showcase employment and training opportunities, career options, entrepreneurship, research, technology and government schemes.

Universities will also make presentations covering education, innovation, research, technology, entrepreneurship, career guidance and drone technology, with an emphasis on future requirements.

AI, robotics and EVs in spotlight

Emerging technologies will form a key part of the conclave. Artificial intelligence, robotics, drone technology, semiconductor technology, renewable energy and electric vehicles will be among the subjects presented to participants.

Young people will be introduced to education, training, research and employment opportunities in these rapidly developing fields.

The event will also offer guidance on career planning, skill development, health, mental health, AYUSH, industry and employment, science and technology, entrepreneurship and cyber security.

Through the Police Department, participants will receive information on women’s safety, cyber security, traffic awareness, community policing, public safety and youth interaction.

Jubin Nautiyal, Kabir Cafe to perform

Adding a cultural dimension to the conclave, renowned playback singer Jubin Nautiyal and Mumbai-based musical group Kabir Cafe will perform at the event.

The government said the broader objective of CM Youth Conclave-2026 is to provide young people with the right direction, ideas, skills and opportunities, thereby contributing to the development of a stronger and more prosperous Madhya Pradesh.
