Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), alleged on Tuesday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is no longer paying heed to its parent organisation, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), hinting at a growing divide between the former and the latter over the political handling of Generation Z.
Addressing an event hosted by media outlet News24, Dipke drew a contrast between recent remarks attributed to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and BJP President Nitin Nabin’’s reported comments on Gen Z.

Dipke said, “Somewhere, the BJP has stopped listening to Mohan Bhagwat and the RSS. On one hand, Mohan Bhagwat says Gen Z are not anti-national and their concerns are genuine, but on the other, BJP president Nitin Nabin, who was appointed just a few months ago, says we are a virus.”

Taking a direct swipe at the BJP leadership, Dipke said the party should pay heed to the RSS Chief’s advice. He asserted, “Mohan Bhagwat is your mentor, you should listen to him first. It will be good for you.”
He then questioned whether the BJP had become powerful enough to disregard the RSS, while flagging Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi’s 12th year in office. He said, “You have become so big that you aren’t listening to the RSS? You have just finished 12 years and Nitin Nabin has just come one or two years ago. You lost a crucial seat.”

His reference was apparently hinted at BJP’s recent electoral defeat in Bihar’s Bankipur to the Jan Suraaj Party, led by Prashant Kishor.
Bhagwat’s praise for Gen Z
Notably, Mohan Bhagwat, on August 6, praised the Gen Z community, which came against the backdrop of a high-profile mobilisation by youngsters over alleged irregularities surrounding the NEET UG 2026 exam. The movement, which initially kicked off at Jantar Mantar in the national capital, eventually spread to other cities, drawing widespread attention and emerged as a major point of discussion around the concerns of young students.
