A serious case involving allegations of gang rape and assault against a woman has come to light in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain. According to the woman’s complaint, an acquaintance she had befriended on Instagram allegedly invited her to Ujjain to meet him.
The accused reportedly abandoned her in an injured condition near Aurobindo Hospital in Indore after the alleged incident.
Woman Alleges Assault Inside Moving Car
According to the victim, the accused arrived with an associate in a car near Meghdoot Hotel in Ujjain. She alleged that they drove her around before other men also joined them in the vehicle.
The woman has alleged that she was assaulted and sexually abused inside the moving car. The allegations have raised serious concerns, although the precise sequence of events and the involvement of other individuals remain subject to police investigation.
Victim Contacts Acquaintance, Approaches Police
The woman reportedly contacted her muh-bole bhai a man she considers her brother at around 9 pm and informed him about the incident. The two subsequently approached Nanakheda police station to report the matter.
Police recorded the woman’s statement and sent her for a medical examination as part of the investigation.
