Actor-director duo produced rib-tickling movies earlier too
Kumar and Priyadarshan, who have collaborated for the horror-comedy, have earlier too lent contributions in producing rib-tickling blockbusters like Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag and Bhool Bhulaiyya. Their reunion has been a major draw for audiences, particularly the people who are fans of their signature blend of comedy and chaos. Kumar has shared the screen space with Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Yadav and Jisshu Sengupta in the film.

The film’s plot is set against the backdrop of a mysterious village, and follows Arjun (Akshay Kumar), who travels to India from London after his sister inherits a grand palace. However, local folklore warns him of a sinister entity named Vandhusur who disrupts weddings by abducting brides, setting the stage for a quirky yet suspenseful narrative.
Gossips from behind the scenes
Actor Mithila Palkar, who has essayed the role of Kumar’s sister in the film, recently revealed that filmmaker Kalyani Priyadarshan recommended her for the role. She expressed gratitude towards her for the opportunity. The film has been presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms, in association with Cape of Good Films. Kumar has lent contribution in production of the film, alongside Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor.
