Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav is set to spearhead the state's investment outreach at Bharat Tex 2026, scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on July 16, 2026. During the event, he will engage with leading domestic and international textile investors, industry representatives and global brands to promote Madhya Pradesh as a preferred destination for investment in the textile, garment and footwear sectors.

As part of his engagements, the Chief Minister will participate in a series of investor-focused programmes aimed at showcasing the state's industry-friendly policies, robust industrial infrastructure and vast investment opportunities. One-on-one meetings, round-table discussions, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and investor interactions will focus on attracting fresh investments, expanding manufacturing capabilities and strengthening industrial partnerships.
In addition to the textile summit, CM Dr Yadav will also attend the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH) Conclave 2026.
MP pavilion to highlight textile ecosystem
CM Dr Yadav will tour Bharat Tex 2026 and inspect the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion, where the state will present its industrial strengths before the global business community. The pavilion will highlight the state's investment-friendly policies, modern industrial infrastructure, skill development initiatives, the upcoming PM MITRA Park in Dhar district, and Madhya Pradesh's integrated textile value chain.
The Chief Minister is also expected to interact with the media during the event.

Round-table discussion with industry leaders
A key highlight of the visit will be CM Dr Yadav's participation in a high-level round-table discussion with prominent leaders from the textile and garment industry. The session will deliberate on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, export promotion, global competitiveness, sustainable manufacturing, logistics and skill development.
Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh will also address the round-table, which is expected to witness the participation of more than 100 industrialists, investors and representatives of leading industry bodies.
Among the notable participants will be Atul Lall, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Dixon Technologies; Manohara Kumar, CEO of Toppan; Kedar Lele, CEO of Helyon; and Kenneth Felix Haczynski da Nóbrega, Ambassador of Brazil to India.
Exclusive investor meetings planned
The Chief Minister will hold exclusive one-on-one meetings with representatives of leading textile and garment companies from India and abroad. Discussions will centre on fresh investments, capacity expansion, export growth, employment generation and technology collaboration.
Later in the day, CM Dr Yadav will address an interactive session titled "Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh" at Hotel The Leela. The session will showcase investment prospects not only in textiles but also in renewable energy, tourism and other emerging sectors, followed by additional meetings with industry leaders to explore opportunities for industrial expansion in the state.

Focus on incentives, PM MITRA Park and global partnerships
During his interactions, CM Dr Yadav will underline the factors that have positioned Madhya Pradesh among India's leading textile investment destinations. The state offers a complete textile value chain; from cotton cultivation and spinning to weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing and garment manufacturing.
Madhya Pradesh's status as India's largest producer of organic cotton, its 'Farm to Fashion' textile ecosystem and the PM MITRA Park under development in Dhar are expected to be key attractions for global investors.
The state government will also present details of industrial incentives and investment facilitation measures available for the textile, garment and footwear industries.

MoUs are proposed to be signed with the Apparel Export Promotion Council, the Manmade and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council, and the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council, along with several national and international trade organisations to strengthen industrial cooperation, investment promotion, skill development and export growth.
Through Bharat Tex 2026, Madhya Pradesh aims to attract fresh investments, generate employment, expand exports and foster long-term industrial partnerships. Dr Yadav will also invite industry leaders to participate in the Global Investors Summit 2027, scheduled for January next year.
