Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Thursday evening watched the much-discussed feature film Hanuman Ansh at a private plaza in Kolar area of Bhopal, and praised its subject, presentation and performances.

The Chief Minister said the film effectively conveys the message that devotion can become a source of strength for social reform. According to him, the screenplay presents the spirit of worship and service to Lord Hanuman, who is revered by millions, in a compelling manner.

Film draws inspiration from Neem Karoli Baba’s life

CM Dr Yadav said the story centred on Neem Karoli Baba also provides inspiration for the principles of Integral Humanism and the welfare of the underprivileged.

He emphasised that the lives of saints have always played an important role in inspiring society through India’s cultural and spiritual traditions. Films based on such subjects, he said, can help connect the younger generation with its roots, values and rich spiritual heritage.

The Chief Minister also singled out actor Shobhinav Satya, who portrays Neem Karoli Baba in the film, for special praise. He said the actor had not merely portrayed the saint on screen but had brought the character to life through his performance.
