Details of the fresh video
In the latest video, Jangra is spotted sitting outside a police station along with a group of young men, believed to be his friends. The group can be heard referencing the Rs 370 biryani remark, following which Jangra and his friends burst into laughter.
The video quickly went viral online, intensifying netizens’ anger over the incident and raising questions about accountability, as well as awareness linked to consent-related discourse.
What was the Rs 370 Biryani remark which triggered a row?
Notably, the Rs 370 biryani remark devolved into a row during stand-up comedian Pranit More’s show held earlier, where Jangra narrated an incident involving a date.
Jangra claimed he had taken a woman on a date and bought her a plate of chicken biryani costing around Rs 370. He further said when the woman asked him to drop her home, he allegedly joked that since he had spent Rs 370 on the meal, he was entitled to reclaim or recover the money.

He was quoted as saying, “Maine Kaha Ki Rs 370 lage hain to Vasool to Karunga Hi.” The remark spread like fire in the online ecosystem, which was vehemently criticised for allegedly framing consent in a transactional manner and implying entitlement over a woman’s autonomy based on monetary spending.
Users and commentators condemned the framing of relationships and consent in financial terms. Critics also slammed Pranit More’s stance, as he was seen laughing rather than challenging the remark.
Public reaction intensifies after new footage
With the latest video filmed outside a police station emerging, critics are arguing that the apparent laughter outside the police station reflects a lack of seriousness about the backlash. Meanwhile, supporters and detractors are continuing to clash online, turning the “Rs 370 biryani” incident into a sustained viral controversy that shows no signs of fading.
