Because of the dilemma of peace talks between US and Israel there was positive sentiments seen in the market as a result there is a decrease and market closed today with a decrease of 756.84 points at 78516.49 and the Nifty closed with a decrease of 198.50 points at 24378.10. In today’s trading also , geopolitical tension across the border was seen, the prices of Crude oil have gone up by 100 dollars per barrel since the Strait of Hormuz is not open yet and are more likely the situation is not much clear but if it goes up the risk of inflation will increase. Today the share price of IT sector saw the most significant losses.
Today, a increase was seen in the Asian Markets also, Japan Nikkei closed with a increase of 0.40% of 236.69 points at 59585.86 points , while Chinese markets Shanghai Composite Index closed today with a increase of 0.52% of 21.18 points at 4106.26 , the South Koreas kospi Index increased by 0.46% by 29.46 points and closed at 6417.93 points and Hangseng Index of Hongkong was closed today with a decrease of 1.22% by 324.24 points at 26163.24 points.The American markets on 21st April 2026 closed with a decrease , Dow Jones decreased by 0.59% by 293.18 points and closed at 49149.38 points whereas S&P 500 index decreased by 0.63% by 45.13 points and closed at 7064.01 points.
