Actress Trisha dodges questions on relationship with Vijay amid divorce buzz, video goes viral

Vijay divorce: South-Indian actress Trisha Krishnan was recently spotted at the Chennai airport, where reporters bombarded her with questions regarding her alleged relationship with Tamil actor-politician Vijay. However, the actress kept mum and dodged the questions, a video of which has gained traction on social media. 

The actress donned a white -T-shirt, black trousers and a denim jacket, and was carrying a handbag. As she walked inside the terminal with her staff, news reports tried questioning her about the controversy surrounding her appearance with Vijay at a wedding reception held recently. Despite repeated queries, Trisha maintained her composure and did not respond, quietly navigating into the airport with her staff.

Duo attended Kalapathi Suresh son’s wedding reception

Vijay and Trisha gained eyeballs days after the former’s wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam filed a divorce petition at the Chengalpattu family court, accusing him of being in an extra-marital affair with an actress and of cruelty. Following this, Vijay and Trisha were spotted together at AGS producer Kalapathi Suresh’s son’s wedding reception in Chennai. Both the actors were dressed in coordinated cream and gold outfits, sparking buzz among fans and the media. 

After the divorce petition was filed, several dignitaries from Kollywood (Tamil Film Industry) weighed in. Filmmaker Parthiban and Vijay’s friend Sriman suggested that Vijay and Trisha might simply share a close friendship.

Vijay broke silence at political rally

Indirectly commenting on the controversy during a rally of his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), Vijay said, “There are some issues being discussed recently. I see many of you fighting those allegations and getting hurt. Don’t worry about such matters. Only good things will happen”. Meanwhile, his upcoming and last film, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is awaiting certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
