President Ayodhya temple: Significance of Shri Ram Yantra

Temple trust member Anil Mishra told the media that the Shri Ram Yantra is rooted in Vedic mathematics and is believed to radiate positive spiritual energy. The square plate weighing around 150 kilograms features Vedic and ‘Beej’ mantras engraved on it, symbolising the divine presence of Lord Ram. Notably, the Yatra has been modelled on a similar structure from the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham and was crafted under the guidance of Swami Vijayendra Saraswati. It was ceremonially brought to Ayodhya from the Tirupati Devasthanam nearly two years ago, and since has been worshipped daily. The installation of the Yantra comes amid festivities of Hindu New Year and Chaitra Navratri.

Security measures heightened amid Prez’s visit

In view of President Murmu’s visit, authorities heightened security measures across Ayodhya. Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaurav Grover said that close to 7 thousand police personnel were deployed across the city, especially across the temple premises and other sensitive areas.
