Telugu superstar Ram Charan’s upcoming rural action drama, ‘Peddi,’ is set to hit the theatres on June 4, the actor announced on Friday. The Buchi Babu Sana-directorial’s shoot was completed recently, marking a major milestone for the project that has already created significant buzz. Ram Charan shared the update with fans on his Instagram handle on Friday, captioning the post, “Meet #PEDDI on June 4th. See you in cinemas.”
Cinematographer confirms film’s wrap online
A few days ago, celebrated cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, who has helmed the camera work for the project, confirmed that the shooting has been wrapped up, in a social media message. He described working with Ram Charan as ‘truly special,’ and termed him a ‘powerhouse performer on screen,’ as well as ‘a wonderful friend off it.’
In a separate post shared on Instagram, he remarked that beyond capturing ‘great visuals,’ the team leaves with great memories, hinting at the camaraderie and passion behind the scenes.

Sources close to the film’s production revealed that towards the end of the shoot, an electrifying song was filmed, featuring Ram Charan. It was filmed in Hyderabad and is said to include a surprise element aimed at captivating audiences.
The track has been composed by music maestro AR Rahman, and is likely to top the charts after release. Insiders have suggested that its combination of striking choreography, lavish design of the set and an unexpected twist could make it one of the standout moments from the film.

Peddi boasts a star-studded cast, as Jahnavi Kapoor will be playing the female lead alongside Ram Charan. Veteran actors like Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani will also be seen essaying pivotal roles. The film’s editing was conducted by Navin Nooli, while the production design was handled by Avinash Kolla, which promises a visually rich and immersive cinematic experience.
