A 13 year old abandoned girl is at the center of a major child sexual abuse investigation in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar, where police have alleged that 32 men sexually exploited the minor at three different hotels. The case has sparked widespread concern, with investigators probing whether a larger network facilitated the alleged crimes.

Investigation Began After Survivor's Statement

According to police, the case came to light after the minor's statement revealed repeated instances of alleged sexual abuse. Based on her testimony, investigators registered a case and launched an extensive inquiry, identifying multiple suspects and collecting evidence from various locations.

Police have alleged that the abuse took place over a period of time at three hotels in Sri Ganganagar. Several suspects have been detained for questioning, while teams are continuing efforts to trace and arrest others named during the investigation.

Evidence Collection Underway

Investigators are examining CCTV footage, hotel records, digital evidence, and witness statements to establish the sequence of events. Authorities are also investigating whether any hotel employees or other individuals knowingly assisted or ignored the alleged offences.

Officials have not ruled out the possibility of a broader exploitation network and said all angles are being examined. The investigation remains ongoing.

Child Protection Laws Invoked

Police said the case has been registered under relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other applicable sections of the law. Authorities have assured that anyone found involved will face strict legal action.

Calls for Stronger Child Safeguards

The case has drawn strong reactions from child rights advocates and local residents, who have called for a swift investigation and speedy trial. The incident has also renewed debate over the protection of abandoned and vulnerable children and the need for stronger monitoring mechanisms.

The survivor is receiving support in accordance with legal procedures, while investigators continue to gather evidence and verify the roles of all those allegedly involved. Police have urged the public to avoid sharing the survivor's identity or unverified information as the investigation progresses.
