MP CM Dr Yadav announces projects worth Rs 119 cr for Alirajpur on 95th death anniversary of Chandrashekhar Azad

MP Politics 2026: On the occasion of 95th death anniversary of the valiant freedom fighter, Chandrashekhar Azad, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Friday announced development works valued at Rs 119 crore for the state’s Alirajpur district. As per the Department of Public Relations (DPR), the move comes as a significant boost to regional growth and infrastructure in the tribal-dominated region of the state.

MP Politics 2026: CM pays floral tributes to Azad’s statue

CM Dr Yadav paid floral tributes to Chandrashekhar Azad’s statue at the Azad Smriti Mandir in Alirajpur district on his 95th death anniversary. He recalled Azad’s valour and sacrifice made for the nation, and termed him as a proud son of MP, whose legacy has inspired many generations.

“Inspirational park to come up at Bhavra,” announces CM Dr Yadav

Addressing the people present on the occasion, CM Dr Yadav said that an inspirational park dedicated to Azad will be established in Bhavra, Azad’s birthplace. Adding to the statements, he said that the park would serve as a tribute to the martyr, and will reflect the spirit of tribal pride linked to the region.

Road construction, expansion on the cards too

Thereafter, the Chief Minister made major announcements during a public gathering held in Kareti village of Alirajpur. He said that new roads will be constructed across the district, and the existing ones shall be expanded.
