MP MSME units: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Monday transferred incentives valued at Rs 169.50 crore to as many as 250 MSME units through a single-click digital system, with the aim to push small businesses and emerging entrepreneurs of the state. The event was held at the CM’s official residence in Bhopal, where financial assistance was granted to 286 start-ups. The start-ups, according to officials, received an amount of Rs 28.60 lakh. MSME Minister Chetanya Kumar Kashyap was also present alongside the Chief Minister at the event.

“Govt committed to strengthen state’s industrial backbone,” says CM
CM Dr Yadav, while addressing the event held under the theme “Samarth MSME Viksit Madhya Pradesh,” said that the government is committed to strengthening the state’s industrial backbone. The incentive transfer exceeded Rs 169.57 crore, and was credited directly into the bank accounts of 257 MSME units.
Additionally, start-ups received their first trance of financial aid as part of MP’s broader innovation and entrepreneurship push. The goal of the initiative, as per officials, is to create a favourable ecosystem for budding enterprises across sectors.
MP MSME units: Rs 3.4 cr sanctioned for start-ups
During the event, a cheque of Rs 8 crore was presented to CM Dr Yadav as interim dividend by the Madhya Pradesh Small Industries Corporation. Further at the programme, financial assistance of Rs 3.43 crore was sanctioned for 286 start-ups across 43 districts of Madhya Pradesh under the state-wide Start-up Policy and EIR (Entrepreneurship-in-residence) scheme. Out of this, the first installment amounting to Rs 28.60 lakh was disbursed via digital means by the Chief Minister, with the aim to ensure transparency and efficiency in fund allocation.

Industrial land allotted to entrepreneurs
At the end of the event, industrial land was allotted to three entrepreneurs from MP’s Agar Malwa and Betul districts, along with a letter of intent issued to another entrepreneur. Notably, under the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana of MP, financial support of Rs 50.5 lakh was extended to three beneficiaries in the form of loan cheques. Additionally, several entrepreneurs were handed over land allotment certificates and letters of intent through an online process. During the conclusion of the programme, young entrepreneurs interacted with CM Dr Yadav and shared their experiences, highlighting the impact of state-backed initiatives on business growth and employment generation.
