Farmers receiving direct benefits

Shedding light on the impact of welfare initiatives, CM Dr Yadav said that farmers previously faced numerous challenges in accessing basic facilities. However, he noted that improvements in electricity supply, water availability, road connectivity and financial assistance schemes have significantly enhanced rural livelihoods.

He added that programmes such as PM-KISAN are helping farmers manage agricultural expenses by providing regular financial support. The direct transfer of funds into bank accounts has reduced dependence on intermediaries and strengthened farmers’ economic stability.

CM attacks Congress over farm policies

Taking a swipe at previous Congress governments, CM Dr Yadav claimed that farmers once received only around ₹300 to ₹400 per quintal for wheat. In contrast, he said, the present government is procuring wheat at ₹2,625 per quintal, ensuring better returns for cultivators.

The Chief Minister also highlighted efforts to promote natural farming in the state. He asserted that Madhya Pradesh has emerged as one of the leading states in the country in adopting and encouraging sustainable and natural agricultural practices.
