MP news: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav announced on Tuesday that the hindi film, ‘Shatak’ will be tax-free across the state. The announcement made by the Chief Minister is likely to slash ticket prices, and draw wider viewership across the state.

The decision comes as welcome news for historical dramas’ admirers, biopics and socially-themed cinema. After being exempted from tax, both the general public and the theatre owners are likely to benefit from increased turnout and reduced entertainment tax burden.
