Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Saturday distributed financial incentives and benefits to MSME entrepreneurs, start-ups and beneficiaries of various welfare schemes through a single-click digital transfer initiative, officials said. As per a statement by the Department of Public Relations (DPR) of MP, The programme, aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and promoting economic growth, saw the participation of entrepreneurs, start-up founders, industry representatives and beneficiaries from across the state.

The Chief Minister lit a ceremonial lamp to kick off the event and addressed a gathering thereafter. During the programme, he highlighted the state government's incessant efforts to promote industrial growth, employment generation and self-employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

Government focused on investment, entrepreneurship, says CM

The Chief Minister asserted that the state government has been consistently working to create a favourable environment for investment and entrepreneurship in Madhya Pradesh. He shed light on several schemes, which have been introduced to support industries and encourage new business ventures, with benefits being delivered directly to eligible beneficiaries.

CM Dr Yadav noted that the adoption of digital technology has strengthened transparency and good governance. According to him, the process of distributing incentives and welfare benefits has become significantly more efficient, accessible and transparent compared to previous years.

He added that the government's objective is to ensure that eligible citizens receive assistance without unnecessary delays or procedural hurdles.

MSMEs and start-ups receive boost

During the programme, crores of rupees in incentives and financial assistance were transferred directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries through a single-click mechanism. The initiative is expected to provide financial stability to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), enabling them to expand operations and create additional employment opportunities.

The Chief Minister said the support would also help start-ups strengthen innovation-driven projects and scale their businesses. Access to timely financial assistance, he noted, is crucial for emerging enterprises seeking to establish themselves in a competitive market.

Commitment to self-reliance and inclusive growth

The state’s top political leader reaffirmed the government's commitment to making young people self-reliant by providing them with new opportunities in business and entrepreneurship. He urged entrepreneurs to focus on innovation, technology adoption and quality enhancement to improve competitiveness.

CM Dr Yadav also directed officials to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last eligible beneficiary within stipulated timelines.

Senior officials from the Industries Department, public representatives and entrepreneurs from various sectors attended the event. Beneficiaries welcomed the initiative, describing it as a significant step towards economic development, entrepreneurship and self-reliance in Madhya Pradesh.
