At the CM Youth Conclave-2026 organized in Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made several important announcements for youth and students. From preparation for competitive examinations to research, startups, skill development and employment, the government has spoken about taking several new steps. The Chief Minister said that the government is particularly focused on providing opportunities and resources to the youth of the state and taking their talent forward.
Free Coaching and AI Labs in Government Colleges
The Chief Minister announced that free coaching classes for preparation for competitive examinations will be started in all government colleges across the state. Along with this, it has also been decided to establish state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing Labs in all government colleges. This will provide students with better facilities for modern technology and preparation for competitive examinations.
Researchers’ Stipend to Increase, Rs 5 Crore Idea Fund
To promote research in higher education, the monthly amount given to researchers has been increased from Rs 16,000 to Rs 25,000. A provision has also been made to establish a fund of Rs 1 crore from the University Fund for research institutions. At the same time, a Rs 5 crore Idea Fund will be created to promote new and useful startup ideas of young people. The government’s objective is to provide financial support to the ideas of youth at the initial stage.
Government Focus on Employment and Skill Development
A placement agency will be appointed to connect youth with employment. Through this, efforts will be made to connect young people with employment opportunities. It has also been announced that one lakh youth in the state will be connected with the skill upgradation scheme. Apart from this, hostels will be built for working women in every division. Five hundred new units of the National Service Scheme, or NSS, will also be established.
PSC Candidates to Get an Additional Chance to Appear for the Examination
The Chief Minister said that in addition to the annual PSC examination, a special examination will now be conducted every year. This is expected to provide an additional opportunity to youth preparing for competitive examinations. It has also been announced that postgraduate female students will be included under the Gaon Ki Beti and Pratibha Kiran schemes. At the same time, a portal will be launched to advance 2027 as the Year of Youth. On this portal, young people will be able to submit their ideas and suggestions, and efforts will be made to implement useful suggestions.
GIS Again in 2027, 12 Medical Colleges and 12 Skill Universities
The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Global Investors Summit will again be organized in Madhya Pradesh in 2027. Along with this, 12 new medical colleges are also set to be started in the state next year. To promote employment-oriented courses, 12 skill universities will also be started. The government says that through these initiatives, emphasis is being placed on providing new opportunities to youth in the fields of higher education, skills, employment and startups.
