With preparations gathering pace for the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2027, the Madhya Pradesh government has stepped up efforts to attract fresh investment to the state. The state’s Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav will travel to Mumbai on October 8 to meet leading industrialists and representatives of major business groups and showcase the investment opportunities available in Madhya Pradesh.
An investor interaction programme will be held at The St Regis Hotel in Lower Parel, Mumbai. During the event, CM Dr Yadav is scheduled to hold one-to-one meetings with industrialists and discuss potential investment opportunities across different sectors.

The government’s immediate focus is on engaging large industrial groups and encouraging them to consider Madhya Pradesh as a destination for new projects ahead of the January 2027 GIS.
MP to present its industrial roadmap
During the investment dialogue, industry leaders will be briefed on Madhya Pradesh’s industrial policies, investment opportunities, infrastructure and industrial clusters being developed across various sectors.
Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary for Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, will make a presentation outlining the investment potential available in the state.
The government is also expected to highlight Madhya Pradesh’s geographical location and logistics advantages. Situated in central India, the state has access to major markets across the country, an advantage that the government plans to position as a key attraction for prospective investors.
The investment outreach will also focus on presenting the state’s industrial infrastructure and the opportunities emerging in different sectors. By putting its policy framework and infrastructure capabilities before major industry players, the government aims to build momentum ahead of the flagship investment summit.
CM to hear investors’ concerns in one-to-one meetings

The one-to-one meetings between CM Dr Yadav and industry representatives are expected to be a key component of the Mumbai investment dialogue. Discussions will focus on potential investment proposals, business requirements and challenges companies may face while setting up projects in Madhya Pradesh.
The Chief Minister will also discuss measures aimed at making the investment process easier and facilitating the approvals and permissions required by companies. The government plans to underline its efforts to create a favourable environment for industries and address issues that could affect the implementation of investment proposals.
The discussions will cover investment possibilities across multiple sectors, with the government seeking to convert initial interest from companies into concrete proposals before GIS 2027.
