Further in his address, CM Dr Yadav said Madhya Pradesh is known for its rich religious, cultural and historical heritage. He emphasised that the state government is continuously working towards the preservation and development of important religious sites across the state.

CM Dr Yadav underscored that the Dev Khanderao Temple holds immense spiritual significance for devotees and serves as a key religious landmark in the region. Improved infrastructure, facilities for pilgrims planned

The state’s top political leader went on to say that renaming Deori as Devpuri would further strengthen the area’s cultural identity. Alongside the name change, the state government intends to expand facilities for devotees, improve infrastructure within and around the temple premises, undertake beautification works, and enhance tourism-related amenities, as per a statement by the Department of Public Relations (DPR) of MP.

According to the Chief Minister, these initiatives are expected to improve the overall visitor experience while also creating new opportunities for local employment and business growth. New development opportunities too announced for the region

Highlighting the state’s broader vision, CM Dr Yadav said the government is implementing special schemes at various pilgrimage destinations to promote religious tourism.
