Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav will embark on the first leg of his 'Jan Vishwas' (Public Trust) outreach campaign on August 7, with a district-level grievance redressal programme in Chhindwara aimed at strengthening public confidence in governance through direct citizen engagement.

As part of the initiative, the Chief Minister will personally interact with selected complainants whose grievances have been registered on the CM Helpline Portal. He will review the status of their complaints, assess the effectiveness of the redressal process and seek feedback directly from citizens on the resolution of their issues.

The programme forms part of the state government's broader effort to ensure prompt grievance resolution, improve accountability within the administration and reinforce public trust through transparent governance.

Direct citizen interaction at the core

Ahead of the district-level solution programme, complaints have been shortlisted and are undergoing preliminary scrutiny to ensure that appropriate action has been initiated by the concerned authorities. Citizens whose grievances have been resolved following this process will be invited to meet the Chief Minister in person.

During the interaction, CM Dr Yadav will review the outcome of the grievance redressal process, allowing citizens to share their experiences directly with the state's highest executive authority. The initiative is intended to provide an additional layer of accountability while ensuring that administrative mechanisms remain responsive to public concerns.

The government believes that such direct engagement will help bridge the gap between citizens and the administration, while promoting greater transparency in the delivery of public services.

Review of development projects, welfare schemes

Besides the public interaction, the Chief Minister will chair a high-level review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing development works and the implementation of various government welfare schemes in Chhindwara district.

Senior district officials are expected to brief the Chief Minister on the status of key infrastructure projects, service delivery mechanisms and the execution of flagship programmes. The review is aimed at identifying implementation bottlenecks and ensuring that government initiatives reach beneficiaries efficiently.

The meeting will also focus on improving administrative performance and accelerating the execution of priority projects across the district.

Industry leaders to join investment dialogue

As part of his visit, CM Dr Yadav will also participate in an industry interaction with representatives from Chhindwara's business and industrial community. The dialogue is expected to provide a platform for discussions on investment opportunities, industrial growth and measures to strengthen the district's economic ecosystem.

The engagement reflects the state government's continued emphasis on fostering closer collaboration between the administration and industry to encourage investment and employment generation.

Strengthening trust through responsive governance

According to the state government, the Jan Vishwas Campaign has been launched to strengthen trust between citizens and the administration by ensuring the timely and effective resolution of public grievances while continuously reviewing the implementation of welfare schemes.

Officials believe the campaign will promote greater accountability, improve service delivery and encourage direct communication between the government and the public. The Chief Minister's maiden Jan Vishwas visit to Chhindwara is expected to mark an important step towards citizen-centric governance and a more responsive administrative framework across Madhya Pradesh.
