BJP national president Nitin Nabin arrived in Indore on Wednesday, where he received a grand welcome from Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav, senior party leaders and workers.

Party workers had made elaborate arrangements from the airport to the programme venue in Gandhinagar, with enthusiasm running high over Nabin’s visit to the state.

Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said the BJP was observing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday as an occasion dedicated to “seva” (service) and “sankalp” (resolve). As part of the celebrations, the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is being launched across Madhya Pradesh from September 17.

Free property registration for villagers

CM Dr Yadav said the campaign would include an initiative under the Swamitva Yojana, aimed at providing registration of residential land in rural areas.

According to the Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh will become the first state in the country to undertake free registration of rural residential properties under the campaign.

The initiative is intended to provide villagers with official documentation establishing their property rights. Such legal documents could also make it easier for residents to navigate various administrative procedures relating to their properties.

PM Vishwakarma scheme highlighted on Vishwakarma Jayanti

The Chief Minister also highlighted the significance of Vishwakarma Jayanti, which is being observed on the same day.

Referring to the PM Vishwakarma Yojana launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Dr Yadav said the scheme was providing traditional artisans and craftspeople with opportunities to develop their skills and take their work forward.

He described Lord Vishwakarma as a symbol of creation and construction, adding that schemes aimed at encouraging artisans and skilled workers were being given special significance on the occasion.

Nabin to travel to venue in open vehicle

CM Dr Yadav said this was Nitin Nabin’s first visit to Indore, the city associated with Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. Special arrangements had been made by BJP workers to welcome the national president.

Nabin is scheduled to travel from the airport to the programme venue in Gandhinagar in a rally in an open vehicle, with a large gathering of BJP workers and supporters expected along the route. He will subsequently visit Ujjain and Mandsaur.

Month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan

The Madhya Pradesh BJP is conducting the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan from September 17 to October 17 to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Modi’s public life and service.

The campaign will formally begin on September 17 evening at Ramghat in Ujjain. Nabin, Dr Yadav and senior party leaders will light the ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’ on the banks of the Shipra river.

Prime Minister Modi’s birthday will also be observed as ‘Seva Parv’. During the month-long campaign, BJP workers will participate in various service activities across the state, with programmes planned down to the booth level.'

Party workers will also light lamps at the homes of beneficiaries at all booths across Madhya Pradesh, as the organisation seeks to take its activities to the grassroots and promote service-oriented initiatives.
