Bhopal, October 5, 2026:Students of a government school in the Misrod area of Bhopal staged a protest on Monday, raising serious allegations against their Physics teacher, identified as Babita Madam. A large number of students, dressed in their school uniforms, gathered on the road and raised slogans against what they described as the teacher's authoritarian behaviour.
The students demanded immediate action from the administration and the education department, alleging that the teacher had subjected them to various forms of harassment and intimidation.

Allegations of Domestic Work
According to the protesting students, the teacher allegedly made them perform personal and household chores in addition to their academic responsibilities. The students claimed that they were asked to move heavy furniture and clean glass at the teacher's residence.
They further alleged that students who refused to carry out such tasks were allegedly threatened and intimidated. However, these allegations have not yet been independently or officially verified.

Claim of Physical Assault
The students also made serious allegations of physical assault. According to their claims, students who refused to follow the teacher's instructions were allegedly beaten with an iron rod. The protesting students shared their alleged experiences with the administration and media and demanded a fair and impartial investigation into the matter.

Allegations of Money Demanded During Exams
The students also raised allegations related to examinations. They claimed that money was allegedly demanded while their examination papers were being evaluated. According to the students, those who refused to pay or perform personal tasks were allegedly threatened with being failed in examinations.
The allegations are yet to be established, and their authenticity will become clear only after an official investigation.
Students Demand Suspension
Following the protest, students and their parents demanded strict departmental action and the suspension of the teacher. Officials from the education department and police are looking into the complaints. Further action is expected after the allegations are investigated and the facts of the case are established.
