Kutch East Police have arrested a man and his wife after their 14-year-old daughter alleged that her father sexually assaulted her at their home near Anjar. Police also allege that the girl’s mother recorded the incident on her mobile phone.
Girl Called Police Control Room
The arrests were made on Friday night after the teenager contacted the police control room and reported the alleged abuse. She was subsequently brought to Anjar police station, where she reportedly narrated the incident to police officers.
Mobile Phone Seized During Investigation
Following the complaint, police began investigating the allegations and recovered the mobile phone allegedly used by the girl’s mother. According to police, photographs and a video connected to the alleged offence were found on the device.
Investigation Underway
Police are continuing their investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident and verify the evidence collected so far. The statements and other available evidence are being examined as part of the probe.
The case has raised serious concerns because the alleged victim is a minor and the accused are members of her own family. Authorities are expected to proceed according to the applicable laws protecting children from sexual offences.
