TCS Nida Khan update: Nida Khan, an employee of the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), who has emerged as the key conspirator and accused in the recently reported ‘religious conversion and sexual harassment’ case from the company’s Nashik unit, has remained untraceable for a week. Police’s efforts to track her have been hindered by conflicting statements being made by her kin. The police’s trail turned cold, as Khan’s husband informed police on Friday that she had been staying with a relative. Acting upon the disclosure, the cops rushed to the location, only to find it locked. Moreover, cell phones of Khan and her relative were switched off, leaving the trail in limbo.

Earlier, Khan’s husband had claimed that her aunt, Noorie Sheikh, had taken her to Nashik earlier this week. He then told the cops that he is unaware of her current whereabouts, adding complexity to the search operation.

Khan was earlier transferred to Mumbai from Nashik

Notably, it came to light that Khan was previously posted at the Nashik office of the firm, and was transferred to the company’s Mumbai office two months ago. The move came as her husband, Moin Naveed Iqbal Khan, has secured employment with Amazon Web Services in Thane’s Mumbra branch.

However, Khan’s professional trajectory took a sharp turn when she was named as the key accused in the alleged ‘religious conversion and sexual harassment’ probe, leading to her suspension and disappearance.

TCS Nida Khan update: Company suspends her, letter accessed by NDTV

Media outlet NDTV claimed it had gained access to the suspension letter served to Khan by the company. The letter, dated April 9, mentions that the company cited a ‘serious matter’ and revoked her system access pending investigation. The company also directed her to refrain from contacting colleagues and surrender the company’s assets.

Since then, her family has moved the Nashik court for anticipatory bail, claiming that she is expecting her first child. Her lawyer maintained that allegations against her are ‘not severe.’
