Film rakes in Rs 4.65 cr in India on Saturday

On the 31st day of its release, the movie registered a modest uptick in India, raking in Rs 4.65 crore on Saturday, a rise from Rs 2.70 crore on Friday. However, the figures have fallen sharply as compared to the previous Saturday’s Rs 13.50 crore, indicating a gradual slowdown after weeks of dominance.

Movie still setting benchmarks at Indian Box Office

Despite seeing a dip, the movie’s domestic performance remains formidable. As per trade estimates, the Ranveer Singh-starrer amassed Rs 1329.31 crore gross and Rs 1110.47 crore net in India since its release. It has edged the prequel’s Rs 890 crore tally, cementing its position as the high-grossing Hindi film in the domestic market.

The high-octane action and a hooking espionage narrative portrayed in the film have contributed to its sustained run in the theatres, and a strong audience pull.

Dhurandhar 2 worldwide collection: Film surpasses Pushpa 2 worldwide

On the international front, Dhurandhar 2 has now minted Rs 1748.91 crore worldwide, including close to Rs 420 crore from overseas markets. With the feat, it has surpassed Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs 1742 crore) to clinch the third spot among the highest-grossing Indian films globally. It trails Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1788 crore) and Dangal (Rs 2090 crore) in the all-time rankings.

Dhurandhar franchise bags historic feat

The Dhurandhar franchise has also shattered the Rs 3000 crore mark globally, becoming the first Indian film series to bag the milestone. Notably, the franchise registered the numbers without relying heavily on Gulf and China markets, from where Dangal and Baahubali 2 had recorded huge sums.
