Dhurandhar 2 collections: High-octane spy-thriller Dhurandhar 2 exhibited a dazzling display of box office dominance by surging beyond the Rs 300 crore mark within just three days of its release, cementing its place as one of the fastest-grossing Indian films in recent memory. The Ranveer Singh-starrer is rewriting records at a remarkable and an accelerated pace. 



Film receives thunderous opening weekend

The film opened to a roaring start of Rs 43 crore from paid previews on March 18, 2026, followed by a whopping Rs 102.55 crore on its opening day. Although it suffered a slight slowdown on Friday and grossed Rs 80.72 crore, the total after two days stood at Rs 226.27 crore. The movie’s momentum continued to build on Saturday, with early estimates suggesting Rs 83.53 crore collected by 6 pm alone, pushing the cumulative domestic total to Rs 309.80 crore. Moreover, the film’s occupancy skyrocketed to 75.6%, signalling strong demand among the audience and positive word-of-mouth. 



Film surpasses Tiger 3, War 2’s earnings


The Aditya Dhar directorial has already overtaken the lifetime earnings of Salman Khan-starrer Tiger 3 and War 2. It is now closing in on the lifetime benchmark of War, which grossed Rs 318 crore. Furthermore, the film also eclipsed the day-two record set by Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, highlighting its extraordinary box office trajectory. 



Film expected to gain international acclaim too

Internationally, the movie is expected to mint as much as $4.5 million in North America on a single day, potentially setting a new record for Indian cinema overseas. The sequel continues the pursuits of an undercover Indian spy navigating dangerous terrain, backed by a stellar cast including Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Sara Arjun. The film’s prequel proved to be a money-minting affair, raking in Rs 1300 crore globally. The sequel appears poised to surpass even that milestone.
