Entertainment news: Bollywood’s popular comedy franchise, ‘Welcome’, is set to embrace its fourth instalment, as producer Firoz Nadiadwala confirmed on Tuesday that it is already in the works. He said that the film, tentatively titled ‘Welcome 4,’ is already in the advanced stages of scripting. Notably, the franchise amassed a huge fanbase since the release of the first film, titled ‘Welcome’, a 2007 release. Nadiadwala made the revelation in an interview with ETimes.
Iconic characters of the franchise, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar have been contributing to the rib-tickling series since its onset, and are also expected to share the screen space in the upcoming sequel.

Entertainment news: Music, action planned at massive level, says Nadiadwala
Spilling the beans about the project, producer Nadiadwala said that the script for the fourth film is actively being developed. He added that the music and action planned by the makers is massive. Furthermore, he hinted that artists from multiple regions, such as the Middle East, Africa, the US and China shall collaborate on the music front for the movie. According to him, the idea is aimed at creating a multicultural musical experience that complements the film’s larger-than-life narrative.
Multiple villains, bigger storyline on the cards
During the interaction, Nadiadwala also teased potential plot elements for the fourth instalment. He said that the storyline may involve more than one antagonist, which could lead to comedic and dramatic clashes involving the franchise’s favourite characters.
‘Welcome to the Jungle’ buckles up for release

Speaking about the third instalment, Nadiadwala said that the film has been completed and dismissed rumours about it facing production setbacks. The Ahmed Khan directorial boasts of a large ensemble cast and is slated for a theatrical release on June 26, 2026.
