Todays Market Updates - 13/05/2026
Today lots of ups and down was seen in the market Because of the dilemma of peace talks between US and Israel and agains the attackes of America on Iran there was seeen negaitive sentiments in the market and selling of Foreign investors and PM Narendra Modis public appeal as a result there is a marginal increase and market closed today with a increase of 49.74 points at 74608.98 and the Nifty closed with a increase of 33.05 points at 23412.60. In today's trading also , geopolitical tension across the border was seen, the prices of Crude oil have gone down by 110 dollars per barrel since the Strait of Hormuz is not open yet and are more likely the situation is not much clear but if it goes up the risk of inflation will increase. Today the share price of Media , Banking, and Realty sector saw the most significant losses.
Today, a increase was seen in the Asian Markets also, Japan Nikkei closed with a increase of 0.84% of 529.54 points at 63272.11 points , while Chinese markets Shanghai Composite Index closed today with a increase of 0.67% of 28.08 points at 4242.57 , the South Koreas kospi Index increased by 2.63% by 200.86 points and closed at 7844.01 points and Hangseng Index of Hongkong was closed today with a increase of 0.15% by 40.53 points at 26388.44 points.The American markets on 12th May 2026 closed with a marginal movement , Dow Jones increased by 0.11% by 56.09 points and closed at 49760.56 points whereas S&P 500 index decreased by 0.16% by 11.88 points and closed at 7400.96 points.
