Dhurandhar 2: The much-awaited Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar-2 suffered a minor hiccup on Wednesday, as delays in its subtitles and dubbed versions disrupted shows across multiple Indian cities. People were seen eagerly waiting in long queues outside theatres to catch early screenings of the movie. However, the nationwide excitement shrouding the spy-thriller was momentarily eclipsed by confusion, particularly for people who had booked the Malayalam and Kannada versions.

Director Aditya Dhar apologises on ‘X’
Film’s director Aditya Dhar addressed the situation via a statement on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter). Expressing regret over the inconvenience caused, he confirmed that while most Hindi shows commenced as per schedule, the screenings for the Tamil and Telugu versions were pushed to 9 pm.
He added that owing to ‘unforeseen technical difficulties’, the Malayalam and Kannada shows will now be screened on Thursday morning. Dhar, in his message, also emphasised the emotional investment behind the film, terming it a project the team had ‘lived with, nurtured, and dreamed of sharing’ simultaneously across languages. He also assured audiences that the ones affected could either opt for a refund or can watch the Hindi version with subtitles.
