Dhurandhar 2 collections: Ranveer Singh-starrer ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ has turned into a money maker at the box office, storming past the Rs 1000 crore mark globally within just seven days of its release. Lately, the film has eclipsed the lifetime earnings of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, fronted by Bollywood heavyweights. Notably, the film has also minted Rs 800 crore in India, cementing it among the fastest-grossing Hindi films in history.

Dhurandhar 2 collections: Day-wise earnings reflect strong momentum
The Aditya Dhar directorial opened to a whopping Rs 145.55 crore in India (including paid previews), followed by Rs 80.72 crore on day 2 and Rs 113 crore on day 3. It maintained its stronghold with Rs 114.85 crore on day 4 before seeing the usual weekday dip.
Despite this, its collections remained robust, as the film raked in Rs 65 crore on day 5, Rs 56.60 crore on day 6, Rs 48.25 crore on day 7 and Rs 49.70 crore on day 8. With the collections, the movie’s India net now stands at Rs 674.17 crore, with a gross of Rs 805.32 crore. Meanwhile, its overseas earnings have reached Rs 261.92 crore, taking its global tally to Rs 1067.24 crore.
Dhurandhar 2 trails its prequel
With this feat, the film currently ranks as the second-highest grossing Hindi film, just behind its own predecessor, Dhurandhar, a December 2025 release. Additionally, the movie has also set new benchmarks, emerging as the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 300 crore just within three days and Rs 400 crore in four days, outperforming Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2.’
Advance bookings refuse to slow down
About to enter into its second Friday, the film’s momentum shows no signs of slowdown. On its second Friday, the film sold over 5 lakh tickets in advance, generating Rs 21.2 crore in pre-sales alone. Trade analysts have predicted the day 9 earnings to reach close to Rs 43-45 crore, potentially marking the biggest second Friday in Indian Box office history.

The film boasts 19,000 shows across India and minimal competition, eyeing to dominate the weekend.
Star-studded cast adds to film’s appeal
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi in key roles, further boosting its mass appeal. As the sequel to last year’s blockbuster, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has not only lived up to expectations but has also redefined box office success in Hindi cinema.
