Development projects in Datia: A day ahead of his birthday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav unleashed a series of development initiatives in the state’s Datia district on Tuesday, offering a boost to the region. During his visit to Datia’s Bhander, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 12 development projects valued at Rs 62.23 crore. On the occasion, he also distributed benefits under various public welfare schemes, and took stock of an agricultural equipment exhibition at a state-level Kisaan Sammelan. The programme commenced as the Chief Minister led the ceremonial lamp lighting and a Kanya Poojan ritual.

CM says he experienced pre-birthday festivities
Addressing the attendees of the occasion, CM Dr Yadav said that the affection of the people made him experience pre-birthday festivities. He thereafter, highlighted the Centre’s role and lauded Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi for India’s continued progress. He said that assistance reaches the citizens swiftly under PM Modi’s leadership. He then commended the farmers and soldiers alike, calling the farmers the ‘architects of the nation’s destiny.’
Further in his statements, CM Dr Yadav reflected on the ongoing efforts to tackle agricultural challenges and announced the opening of Sandipani schools in the region to enhance educational opportunities. He praised these institutions for providing books, uniforms and an environment conducive for learning. He further underlined that meritorious students are being provided aid with scooters and laptops, and the school-going kids will soon receive milk under a new scheme named after Maa Yashoda.
Development projects in Datia: CM slams Congress, pushes for rural growth
Taking a swipe at the Indian National Congress (INC), CM Dr Yadav criticised it for alleged neglect during its tenure, urging the party to apologise to the general public. He contrasted past conditions, such as inadequate school infrastructure and limited irrigation, with current improvements.

He then announced incentives to boost dairy farming, including subsidies for those investing in large-scale cattle rearing. He said that irrigation coverage has expanded, benefiting millions of hectares of farmland.
New projects announced, inaugurated
Among the key projects announced at the event, new infrastructure developments include a science faculty building at PG College in Datia, a rest house near religious sites, power substations, school hostels and sports facilities.
