Cockroach Janata Party Withdraws September 5 ‘Delhi March’, Major Decision After Centre’s Assurance in Supreme Court

New Delhi: During the hearing in the Supreme Court on Tuesday, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) announced that it was withdrawing its proposed ‘Delhi March’ scheduled for September 5. The organization told the court that the decision was taken in view of the positive assurance received from the Central Government and the order passed by the Supreme Court today.

Delhi March Was Scheduled for September 5

The Cockroach Janata Party had earlier announced a march in Delhi on September 5. The organization said that there were concerns among the protesters regarding the fulfillment of promises made by the government. This was the reason behind the announcement of the march.

Saurav Das Presented the Party’s Stand in Court

During the hearing in the Supreme Court, CJP Co-Convenor Saurav Das presented the organization’s position. He said that in view of the positive assurance received from the government, judicial dignity, and the order passed today, the organization had decided to withdraw the march.

Decision Changed After Centre’s Assurance

During the hearing, the Solicitor General presented the Centre’s side. Following the assurance given by the government, CJP decided to withdraw its proposed protest.

CJI Said- Matter Can Be Resolved in Good Spirit

During the hearing, the Chief Justice of India (CJI) also made an important observation. He said that if both sides move forward with a good spirit and a positive approach, the entire matter can be resolved easily. Following the Supreme Court’s observation and the Centre’s assurance, CJP withdrew its proposed Delhi March scheduled for September 5.
