Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Friday marked Raksha Bandhan with members of the Brahma Kumaris, who tied a sacred rakhi on his wrist at a special ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s residence.

The sisters of the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya extended their warm wishes to the Chief Minister, praying for his good health, prosperity and long life. The intimate ceremony reflected the spirit of love, faith and affection traditionally associated with the festival.

The Brahma Kumaris sisters tied the traditional raksha sutra to CM Dr Yadav during the Raksha Bandhan programme, following customary rituals. They also prayed for his continued good health and long life, as well as for peace, happiness and prosperity across Madhya Pradesh.
