MP CM Dr Yadav Pledges Stronger Support for Youth at ‘My Youth-My Pride Conclave 2026’

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Saturday reaffirmed his government's commitment to empowering young people, declaring that the state is prepared to extend every possible support to help them realise their ambitions and contribute to building a developed Madhya Pradesh.

Addressing the 'My Youth-My Pride Conclave-2026' at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore, the Chief Minister described Madhya Pradesh as one of India's youngest states and urged the youth to seize the opportunities emerging across sectors. The event brought together students, entrepreneurs, professionals and young achievers, who also presented CM Dr Yadav with a draft 'Youth Resolution Charter' outlining their vision for a progressive and developed Madhya Pradesh.

Government committed to youth welfare and employment

Addressing the gathering, CM Dr Yadav said the state government is focused on creating opportunities that enable young people to excel through their talent, skills and determination.

He said financial assistance is being provided to encourage youths to establish homestay ventures, while aspiring medical students are being offered easier access to education loans. To promote employment-generating industries, the government is providing a subsidy of ₹5,000 towards the salary of each worker employed by eligible enterprises.

Highlighting welfare initiatives, the Chief Minister said the state has launched the Rahveer Yojana, under which individuals who assist victims of road accidents are awarded ₹25,000 to encourage humanitarian assistance. He also noted that the PM Shri Air Ambulance service is being made available to poor and needy citizens requiring emergency medical care.

Calls for active youth participation in nation-building

CM Dr Yadav urged young people to draw inspiration from freedom fighters such as Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh and Madan Lal Dhingra, who sacrificed their lives in service of the nation. Referring to revolutionary leader Tantya Mama, he said such icons continue to inspire generations with their courage and patriotism.

The Chief Minister also cited the journey of industrialist Mukesh Ambani as an example of perseverance, saying success is achieved through determination and hard work.

Praising Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, CM Dr Yadav said several transformative initiatives had improved the lives of economically weaker sections, including the opening of zero-balance bank accounts under financial inclusion programmes. He also highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects such as the Ken-Betwa Link Project and the PKC project, besides noting that Indore now receives water from the Narmada River.

Announcing a major initiative, the Chief Minister said the year 2027 would be dedicated as the 'Year of Youth', emphasising that public participation is essential for shaping a stronger and more prosperous future.

Youth present roadmap for developed MP

Principal Secretary of the Industries Department, Raghvendra Singh, said India's growing global stature under PM Modi's leadership reflects the country's rising aspirations. He added that the cycle rally flagged off by the Chief Minister would culminate at Bhabra in Jhabua district, the birthplace of freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad.

During the conclave, young delegates shared recommendations on education, skill development, healthcare, sports, innovation and sustainable agriculture. Speakers highlighted the benefits of digital health records through ABHA IDs, encouraged youth participation during Simhastha preparations as volunteers, and advocated natural farming, polyhouse cultivation and digital marketing as avenues for rural entrepreneurship.

The conclave concluded with a renewed call for greater youth participation in achieving the vision of Developed India 2047, positioning the state's young population as the driving force behind Madhya Pradesh's future growth.
