Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Wednesday said India had achieved “unprecedented” milestones on the global stage under the leadership of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, as the state geared up for the month-long Seva-Sankalp Abhiyan being launched on Modi’s birthday.

The Madhya Pradesh government has completed preparations for the campaign, which will begin on September 17 and continue for around a month. Arrangements have been made across all districts, with activities planned in villages and at the grassroots level.

Campaign to mark PM Modi’s birthday

Addressing the media on September 16, CM Dr Yadav said the Seva-Sankalp Abhiyan would commence across the country alongside celebrations marking the Prime Minister’s birthday.

The Chief Minister recalled that Modi had taken the oath as Gujarat Chief Minister 25 years ago and made a commitment to public service. According to CM Dr Yadav, PM Modi’s leadership subsequently helped Gujarat establish new benchmarks in development.

“Under his capable leadership, Gujarat has carved out new paradigms of development,” CM Dr Yadav said, adding that India had also registered unprecedented achievements globally over the past 12 years.

The campaign has been planned as a large-scale outreach initiative, with preparations extending from district headquarters to villages across Madhya Pradesh.

BJP chief to launch Deepotsav in Madhya Pradesh

CM Dr Yadav said BJP national president Nitin Nabin would inaugurate the Deepotsav in Madhya Pradesh on September 17 as part of the campaign.

The state government is also set to facilitate free registration of land titles for more than 5 million rural residents at the government level. The initiative is expected to be a significant component of the campaign’s grassroots outreach.

The Chief Minister further said BJP workers were enthusiastic about welcoming Nitin Nabin to the state for the launch programme.

With preparations now complete, the Madhya Pradesh government is set to roll out a series of activities under the Seva-Sankalp Abhiyan, linking the campaign to public service initiatives and celebrations around the Prime Minister’s birthday.

The programme is expected to remain active for approximately one month, with participation and arrangements extending across the state’s districts and rural areas.
