Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav said on Sunday that his government is taking several innovative steps to make employment opportunities more accessible to young people, with plans to create avenues for them to work while pursuing their studies.

CM Dr Yadav said the government is working towards a system under which IT parks and engineering campuses across Madhya Pradesh, including those in Indore and Ujjain, will offer new employment opportunities to students alongside their education.

Focus on technology, innovation and jobs

The Chief Minister said the proposed Indore-Bhopal Metropolitan City Area would play an important role in the state's future development. He said the initiative would not only promote new technology and innovation but also create additional employment opportunities for young people.

CM Dr Yadav said that under Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi's leadership, the state government was moving ahead rapidly in several areas, including the establishment of industrial units capable of generating employment and strengthening the production and services sectors.

He also said preparations for Simhastha 2028 were progressing, with the government working to complete all development projects required for the major religious gathering at the earliest.

Main road to Mahakal temple being widened

The Chief Minister also spoke about the large-scale widening of the main road leading to Baba Mahakal in the heart of Ujjain.

Describing the project as an important step towards the city's development, expansion and beautification, CM Dr Yadav said the widened road would provide significant convenience to the large number of devotees expected to visit Ujjain from across India and abroad during Simhastha.

He particularly praised local residents who have been voluntarily cooperating with the district administration in the widening and beautification of the Baba Mahakal main road.

CM praises voluntary public support

CM Dr Yadav said all those extending voluntary support to the administration deserved appreciation and recognition for their contribution to the city's development.

The Chief Minister made the remarks on Sunday while speaking to local media representatives after inspecting an IT park and various ongoing development projects in Ujjain. Local public representatives and the district administration were also present during the interaction.
