MP CM Dr Yadav to Transfer ₹1,835 cr to Ladli Behna Beneficiaries in Bhind, Development Projects’ Launch on Agenda

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav is set to visit Lahar in Bhind district on Sunday, where he will preside over a state-level programme to release more than ₹1,835 crore under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana scheme, officials said. During the event, the Chief Minister will transfer the funds directly into the bank accounts of over 1.25 crore women beneficiaries across the state through a single-click digital transfer.

The payment marks the 38th regular monthly instalment under one of the Madhya Pradesh government's flagship women-centric welfare schemes, aimed at strengthening the financial independence of eligible women.

Monthly assistance increased to ₹1,500

As per a statement issued by the Department of Public Relations (DPR) of MP, under the Ladli Behna Yojana, eligible beneficiaries have been receiving hiked financial assistance of ₹1,500 per month since November 2025, following an increase of ₹250 in the monthly benefit announced by the state government.

Since the scheme was launched in June 2023, the government has consistently disbursed monthly instalments without interruption. By June 2026, a total of 37 instalments had already been transferred successfully, making the upcoming release the scheme's 38th instalment.

The programme is expected to benefit more than 1 crore 25 lakh 15 thousand women, reinforcing the government's focus on social security and financial support for women across Madhya Pradesh.

Development projects worth over ₹322 crore to be unveiled

Besides releasing the welfare funds, CM Dr Yadav will inaugurate 40 completed development projects built at a cumulative cost of ₹238.96 crore.

The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stones for 16 new public welfare projects worth ₹83.33 crore, aimed at strengthening infrastructure and meeting the region's future development requirements.

The projects are expected to improve public amenities and enhance civic infrastructure in Bhind district, while contributing to the state's broader development agenda.
