As the Tiranga Yatra moved ahead, CM Dr Yadav struck a visibly informal and warm chord with participants. He interacted with children, showered affection on them and posed for selfies with members of the public.

At one point, the Chief Minister stepped out of his vehicle and walked among the people, encouraging participants and urging them to carry forward the spirit of patriotism and public service.

A large number of young bikers participated in the procession, while senior citizens and women also joined the celebrations. Schoolchildren from several institutions welcomed the yatra by waving the Tricolour. Some children dressed up as Bharat Mata and freedom fighters, adding to the patriotic atmosphere.

2027 to be observed as ‘Year of Youth’

Addressing the gathering, CM Dr Yadav announced that 2027 would be observed as the ‘Year of Youth’ in Madhya Pradesh.

CM Dr Yadav said the country was moving forward with renewed energy and determination under the guidance of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi. He said the Tricolour was flying proudly across the skies, seas and land, while the enthusiastic participation in Tiranga Yatras reflected a new wave of patriotic energy.

‘India’s stature rising globally’

He said 2025 had been observed as the ‘Year of Investment’, which had helped create easier avenues for livelihoods, while the government was working for farmers under the ‘Year of Farmer Welfare’.
