Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav Reviews Flood Situation via Video Conference

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached the Home Guard Headquarters on August 11. He viewed the flood-affected areas through a video conference from the Situation Room of the State Disaster Management and took stock of the well-being of the people affected by the floods. He directly interacted with the affected people. During this, CM Dr. Yadav was informed that so far, 527 flood-affected people have been rescued in the state. Relief and rescue operations are continuing. After taking the information, CM Dr. Mohan gave necessary instructions to the field personnel engaged in relief and rescue operations.

Regarding this, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav told the media that it is the rainy season. This time, the state has received 15% less rainfall than normal. In areas that have received heavy rainfall, efforts are underway to provide relief to the general public. I am pleased that the rescue team has so far saved the lives of 527 people. Seven Kanwariyas were rescued in Khandwa. A dangerous situation arises when the water level of rivers suddenly rises during the rains.

I also spoke to the people who were rescued and saved. I urge people whose houses are built along rivers and streams to exercise special caution.
