MP CM Dr Yadav Offers Prayers at Bhainswa Mata Temple, Seeks Prosperity for State

With the state-wide Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan set to conclude on June 30, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav visited Rajgarh on Tuesday, where he offered prayers at the revered Bhainswa Mata Temple and sought blessings for the prosperity, happiness and well-being of the people of the state.

The Chief Minister performed traditional rituals at the sacred Doodh Talaiya in the Bhainswa Mata region amid Vedic chants. He prayed to Bhainswa Mata and Mata Bijasan, wishing for peace, prosperity and public welfare across Madhya Pradesh. During the visit, he also reiterated the message of a greener and more environmentally conscious India.

As part of his visit, CM Dr Yadav reviewed the proposed architectural plan for the Bhainswa Mata Temple and was briefed on the planned development and beautification works aimed at enhancing the religious site's infrastructure and visitor experience.

Emphasising the importance of environmental conservation, the Chief Minister planted a sapling within the temple premises, reinforcing the government's commitment to afforestation and sustainable development.

Earlier, CM Dr Yadav received a traditional welcome on his arrival. A tribal dance troupe greeted him with vibrant cultural performances at the temple entrance, showcasing the region's rich heritage. Young girls carrying ceremonial pots on their heads welcomed the Chief Minister in accordance with local customs and traditions, adding a festive touch to the occasion.

Public participation key to campaign's success, says CM

Highlighting the significance of community involvement in government initiatives, Dr Yadav said that campaigns related to water conservation, tree plantation and cleanliness could only achieve lasting success through active public participation.

During the programme, he distributed tricycles to specially-abled beneficiaries, extending his wishes for their independence and self-reliance.

The Chief Minister also appreciated the efforts of Biaora's Environment Lovers Conservation Committee for manufacturing eco-bricks using plastic waste. He described the initiative as an exemplary model of environmental protection driven by public participation and encouraged similar community-led efforts across the state.

CM hands over EVs to Lakhpati Didi SHGs

In another step towards strengthening women's economic empowerment, CM Dr Yadav handed over 11 electric vehicles to members of the Lakhpati Didi self-help groups. The initiative is expected to promote sustainable livelihoods while encouraging the adoption of eco-friendly modes of transport.

The Rajgarh visit reflected the state government's continued focus on environmental sustainability, religious tourism, community participation and inclusive development, coinciding with the culmination of the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan, a campaign dedicated to water conservation and ecological preservation across Madhya Pradesh.
