In fact, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took several decisions in the Cabinet meeting. He particularly focused on science and technology. After the meeting, Cabinet Minister Rakesh Singh provided information about the decisions. He said that provision has been made for schemes worth more than ₹492 crore for the next five years in the field of science and technology. While during the tenure of the Congress government, its budget was only ₹6 crore, under the BJP government, the budget for science and technology has been increased to ₹734 crore.
Congress Did Not Undertake Development
Cabinet Minister Singh said that this difference clearly shows that the Congress government neglected the field of science and technology, whereas the BJP government is taking it forward as a priority.
