Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Sagar district, where he inaugurated the newly established Gyanveer University located near Jerai on Nariyavali Road. Upon reaching the venue, the Chief Minister performed Kanya Pujan on stage, seeking blessings as per tradition. The event saw a high-profile presence, including Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla and Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar. Additionally, MLAs from all eight assembly constituencies of the district were in attendance to mark the occasion.

Launch of Mega Job Fair
During his visit, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also inaugurated a Mega Job Fair hosted within the Gyanveer University campus. Addressing the gathering, the CM highlighted the government’s commitment to providing employment and self-employment opportunities to the youth. Direct Recruitment: Representatives from several prominent national and state-level companies participated in the fair.
Selection Process: Many youths were selected for various positions through direct on-the-spot interviews conducted by company officials.
A Major Step for Higher Education
Cabinet Minister Govind Singh Rajput emphasized that the opening of Gyanveer University is a significant milestone for students in Sagar and the surrounding regions. He noted that students will no longer need to migrate to metro cities for quality higher education, as modern and high-standard facilities are now available locally in Sagar.
