Salman Khan’s upcoming project with Paidipally slated for Eid 2027 release; actor confirms

SVC63 news: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has officially locked an Eid 2027 release for his upcoming project with critically acclaimed filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally. The project, which is still untitled, is tentatively being referred to as SVC63, and marks the first-ever partnership between Khan and the National Award-winning director. Notably, Khan will share the screen space with one of South India’s leading actresses, Nayanthara.

SVC63 news: Khan makes confirmation on Friday

Khan took to Instagram on Friday and shared exclusive glimpses from the film’s mahurat ceremony. He provided a sneak peek into what promises to be a high-octane cinematic venture. The video featured both Nayanthara and Khan, along with a ceremonial clapboard and a few moments from the shoot. The clip concluded with the announcement, “Shoot begins. #SalmanKhanVamshiPaidipallyFilm EID 2027.”

Salman urges fans to be patient

Salman also penned a playful yet intriguing caption for the video, encouraging fans to ‘think ahead’ while assuring them that further details regarding the project would be unveiled at the right moment. His message was laced with anticipation and humour, which hinted fans may need to wait patiently for more updates on both this project, as well as his upcoming ventures. 

Shoot underway in Mumbai

The film is backed by renowned producer Dil Raju, under the banner of Sri Venkatesawara Creations, and is being mounted on a lavish scale. Sources within the industry indicated that the movie’s shooting is currently underway on an expansive set in Mumbai and has been designed to accommodate high-intensity action sequences, along with pivotal scenes.

It is noteworthy that Paidipally is well-known for blending grandeur with strong emotional narratives, and has worked earlier with leading stars across Indian cinemas, such as Prabhas, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan Teja, Allu Arjun and Vijay. He was also conferred with the National Award for his movie ‘Maharshi’, which testified his directorial vision and storytelling prowess.
